Welcome to KM Furnitures. This page covers everything you need to know about how we handle payments, how we ship your order, and what to expect on the day your furniture arrives. We believe in being upfront—no surprises at checkout, no small print.

1. Payment Security

Your financial safety matters to us. Every transaction placed on our website is protected end-to-end:

Cards & Payment Options We Accept
We accept Afterpay and all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, Klarna, UnionPay, and Amex.

How Your Data Is Protected
Our checkout operates over an SSL-encrypted connection and runs through Square's payment infrastructure. Your card details are encrypted in transit and never stored on our systems after your order is placed.

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
We comply fully with UK financial regulations by applying 3D Secure verification at checkout, adding an extra layer of protection against unauthorized use of your card.

A Few Things to Note

  • Payment is taken in full at the point of purchase. Your order is only confirmed once payment clears successfully.

  • If a payment attempt is declined or flagged, no order will be generated until the issue is resolved.

  • We reserve the right to place orders on hold, request identity verification, or cancel transactions that show signs of fraud.

  • Accurate billing details are required. Incorrect information may cause your order to be delayed or cancelled.

  • Refunds are handled in line with our separate Returns Policy. If you spot an unexpected charge, please get in touch with us before raising a dispute with your bank.

2. Where We Deliver

We currently deliver to mainland UK addresses only. We do not ship to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, or international destinations at this time.

Delivery is completely free on every order — no minimum spend, no postcode exceptions for those within our coverage area. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.

3. How Long Will My Order Take?

Order Cut-off: Orders placed by 2:00 PM (GMT) on a working day are processed from that same day. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be picked up the following working day.

Handling Time: 1–4 working days (Monday to Saturday). This is the time our team needs to pick, check, package, and book in your delivery.

Transit Time: 3–8 working days (Monday to Saturday). This is how long your order is on the road once it has left our warehouse.

Total Estimated Delivery Window: 4 to 12 days from the date you place your order. Deliveries are carried out between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

4. Tracking Your Order

Unlike many online retailers, we do not use third-party couriers. All deliveries are carried out by our own dedicated delivery team, which means we can communicate with you directly and personally at every stage:

  • Dispatch Notification: As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a confirmation by email or SMS letting you know it is on its way.

  • Pre-Delivery Call: One to two days before your delivery date, we will contact you to confirm a specific 4-hour arrival window so you are not left waiting.

  • On the Day: Our driver will call you approximately 30 minutes before arrival to give you a precise heads-up.

 

5. If Your Order Hasn't Arrived

If 14 days have passed beyond your estimated delivery date with no sign of your order, please contact us at contact@kmfurnitures.co.uk, and we will investigate straight away.

6. Managing Your Delivery

Rescheduling: Need to change your delivery date or time slot? No problem—contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery, and we will rearrange it at no charge.

Missed Deliveries: If you are unavailable at the agreed time or decline the slot on the day, we will do our best to offer a new delivery date within 10 working days.

7. Important Conditions on Delivery Day

Please read the following before your delivery is booked:

Ground Floor Only (Standard Service)
Our standard delivery covers bringing your furniture safely inside your property and placing it at a suitable ground-floor location. This is a drop-off service.

Stairs
Our drivers work alone and are not insured or equipped to carry heavy items up staircases, whether in a house or a multi-floor apartment building. Any request to carry goods beyond the ground floor is done entirely at the customer's and driver's own discretion and risk—unless you have pre-booked our 2-Man Delivery upgrade before your order is dispatched.

Existing Furniture
Our drivers are not able to move, rearrange, or remove any furniture or belongings already in your home.

Assembly
Drivers do not assemble products as part of standard delivery. If you require assembly or installation, this must be arranged as an add-on service prior to dispatch
